Lodi Middle/High School Campus
Preparing our middle and high school students for a transition to adulthood.
The SBJC Lodi Campus educates students in grades 6th through 12th grade in our Autism, ERI, and MD programs, in addition to housing our 18-21 Transition Program. Our Middle/High School program offers a continuum of diverse learning environments and placements for each student's individual needs. From highly structured self-contained ABA classrooms to more traditional settings, we create a supportive atmosphere that fosters growth and achievement.

Welcome to the SBJC Lodi Campus
The SBJC Lodi Campus is dedicated to supporting the autonomy and achievement of our students with complex learning needs, from grades 6 to 21 years of age. Our highly trained staff provide innovative educational programs and comprehensive therapeutic and behavioral services within a safe and caring community at the SBJC Lodi Campus.
To help each student unlock their full potential, our SBJC team members collaborate closely with students, families, and home district case managers to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). These IEPs outline the goals and objectives of students in their academic and functional areas, as well as identify the necessary supports and modifications a student needs to access the general education curriculum and meet New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
For students aged 18 to 21, we offer programs that align their strengths and interests with community job placements. These programs focus on developing practical life skills, social interaction skills, and positive work attitudes to ensure successful transitions into productive futures. Program staff work collaboratively with students and their families to generalize these skills to home and community settings.
Upon graduation, SBJC students receive a high school diploma from their home district.

Curriculum Focused on Student Need
We teach functional skills in meaningful ways and work to generalize success spanning from the classroom to the home.
Positive Reinforcement
Our staff work to individualize programming needs and collaborate with our behaviorists on physical environment, instructional control, and skill acquisition.
Home-School Connection
We value family partnerships and believe they are key to helping our children reach their full potential at home, school, and in the community.
Community-Based Instruction
Through CBI, students get hands-on experiences in real-world settings to practice and generalize the skills they learn in the classroom.
Athletics
Our students have the opportunity to participate in sports teams to foster leadership, develop healthy habits, and build strong social-communication skills.
Yoga and Mindfulness
Yoga and Mindfulness practices are integrated into the curriculum, empowering students to cultivate emotional regulation, enhance cognitive function, and sharpen focus.
